WEB SITE HOSTING

Any web site, including a Site-to-Go or a custom site, must be placed on a computer called a web server. The web server computer runs a special software and is always connected to the Internet, so that your site is always available to visitors.

If you have your own domain name (for instance, wonderfulcatsofmine.com) then you almost certainly already have space on a web server. In addition, some internet service providers give their customers some space on their web server for free for a personal web site.

However, if all you have is an e-mail address and your internet service provider does not give you free web space, you will need to obtain space on a web server for your web site.

We include, as part of the purchase of a Site-To-Go or a custom web site, the service of putting ("uploading") your web site onto your web server. If don't have a web server, however, you can use ours for a nominal yearly charge.

Whether or not you have your own domain name, we can host your site on our web server.

We can host a small website for $5/month (payable for a year at a time, or $60 total). We can host a larger website for $10/month (payable for a year at a time, or $120).
