NewsMaker Applet Sound Files

Description:

The NewsMaker Applet supports .au Java sound files.
Over two dozen sample files are provided in this kit.
See the documentation on the applet for more infor-
mation about sound files and their use with the 
applet.

Additional Java-format sound files are available
from the Archive section on www.CodeBrain.com, and
from many other sites on the Internet.

NewsMaker supports industry-standard Sun Java .au file
format for sounds, only. Always keep sound files as
small and short as possible!  The proper format for
these files is 8-bit u-law mono and 8000 Hz.

Note that no other sound file format is supported by
standard Java applets.
